Maxi Moralez bags hat trick in rout of Union SC

New York, NY: First round draft pick Maxi Moralez bagged the first hat-trick of 2017 for the Spartans in a comprehensive rout of Union SC. The newly signed attacker tried to trade jerseys with an opponent after the game, but his children's medium size shirt was too small. Moralez' hat trick was the ninth in club history, with the last one coming from DP Diego Fagundez in Week one of 2016.

After two dismal seasons, the Spartans are back in action. The team is a mixture of proven veterans and exciting youngsters. Also of note, this will be the first game win Spartans history without Graham Zusi on the roster for the Spartans.
